Working remotely, whether at home or away from a base, we often struggle to find real connections or meaningful social interactions.
Plus, in the Central-East Algarve, the geographic diversity and distance creates barriers to finding community. LOFT brings us together.

The Beginning
Our History
In October 2023, Claire & Flor hosted the very first after work event with the goal to discover remote workers & digital nomads in and around Faro & Olhão.
Over 30 people from many different countries, including Portugal 🇵🇹, showed up, connected, and became the beginning of what we named Faro-Olhão Digital Nomads.
As we grew, our events soon brought together many yearning for connection from across the Central and East Algarve, including Tavira and Loulé.
And that’s how the Loulé, Olhão, Faro & Tavira (LOFT) community came to life 🧡
